Sometimes there just isn't time to bake an entire chocolate cake. But that doesn't stop you from wanting a slice. If you can't beat the craving, you might as well make the process as quick and easy as possible...
Our easy peasy mug cake will take very little time and ingredients to prepare. Even better, it should give you all the chocolatey taste you need with the added bonus of some handy probiotics too!

Ingredients:
1 tbsp self-raising flour
4 tbsp caster sugar
3 tbsp kefir milk
3 tbsp vegetable oil or sunflower oil
2 tbsp chocolate chips
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 medium egg
Directions:
Step 1: Add the self-raising flour, sugar and cocoa powder to a large microwaveable mug, then mix the ingredients together.
Step 2: Add the egg and mix again.
Step 3: Add the rest of your ingredients - milk, vegetable or sunflower oil and mix in your chocolate chips too.
Step 4: Place your mug in the middle of your microwave and heat for around 2 mins - check if your cake has stopped rising and is firm.
You can add a few more choc chips on top if you are feeling really decadent! Now go and enjoy it...you can thank us later.
