What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented drink and it's pretty much alive. It's prepared with black/green tea, sugar and symbiotic culture of acetic acid (vinegar). It also contains a bacteria and yeast known as SCOBY - that's the bit that is alive! Your Kombucha drink may be still or slightly sparkling but most importantly it is packed full of goodness. Kombucha is a delicious drink and can be infused with other ingredients to give a range of flavours. Kombucha is well known for its energising and detoxifying properties.
