What is the difference between water and milk kefir?
Water kefir is an often bubbly drink with a sweet but tangy flavour. Milk kefir is a creamy, yoghurt like drink with little bit of a fizz – it is also a little sweet and a little sour.
Which is better, water kefir or milk kefir?
Both milk and water kefir are really good when it comes to getting those good bacteria into your diet. That said, there are generally more good bacteria and good yeasts in milk kefir than found in water kefir. Of course, there is also the question of taste - some people simply prefer water or milk kefir and drink more of their favourite for that reason. Here at Kefirko, we love them both!
